Do you go down the rabbit hole?
I wake up every morning filled with excitement to start the day. I don’t need caffeine or a cup of joe to start my engine. Although I must say I do enjoy a homemade coconut carrot muffin, to give me an added pep in my step. With that said, today however, I awakened in a bit of a funk and somehow or another I needed to get my good mood groove back.
Every weekend I look forward to several broadcasts on my radio, especially when I am preparing and cooking a nice meal. Today I turned on my radio boom box and dialed in my go-to station. It was just in time to hear one of my favorite programs.
The radio personality who hosts this particular program infuses the airwaves with such effervescence, kindness, and genuine curiosity. Their positive energy alone creates an abundance of good feeling energy.
When the program came to an end, I was no longer in a funk. Instead, I felt renewed and invigorated. I got my good mood groove back! The change in my mood simply came from following the energy; as in what person, place, or thing makes me feel good. And this particular individual makes me feel happy, due to their positive personality.
The essence of positivity can be found not only in human form, but in many other ways when we choose to tune into it. Follow the energy and see who or what makes you feel good. This intuitive practice can also be used whenever you need to make a decision. Plus, tangible items or surfing the web lends itself well to this technique. It’s actually quite fun to do.
First, begin by looking at the product, brochure, or online website. Next, choose the item or company based upon the visual harmony or advertising that most appeals to you. Follow the good feeling energy. If cost is a factor, choose the next item or company that appeals to you.
Continue to refine this process by asking yourself, “How does the product, brochure, or commerce website make you feel?” Pay close attention to the visual and sensory clues that make up their advertising. Notice the graphics, colors, words, and text. And if it is a physical product, apply the same principles, but take into consideration the physicality of the item. Look at the type of material, as well as the quality, shape, color, design, and texture. How do these features resonate with you and make you feel?
From experience, I have learned this is an effective way to tap into both the designer’s and the company’s energetic field, in order to discern compatibility or incompatibility. Most often, a positive experience will result in a successful and enjoyable outcome.
Follow the energy also means paying attention to your senses and feelings when uncertainty, caution, mistrust, or dislike present themselves to you. Misalignment can sometimes appear quite subtle, while at other times it will be loud and clear. Listening to your senses and feelings in tandem with one another can provide remarkably accurate guidance.
Following the energy is a path that will lead you to genuine happiness. And the more you bathe in the frequency of this goodness, the happier you will feel each and every day.
