Memories of a Forgotten Lifetime

The Subconscious Saboteur

Dun-dun-dun! It’s back!

I had the oddest thing happen on the way to finishing a story.  I opened my paper clip container and spotted a beautiful sparkling purple paper clip.  It caught my eye like a twinkling night star.  However, in the process of reaching for this particular paper clip, my mind overrode my initial preference and directed my hand to a less than appealing blue paper clip!  No way!  Way.  A preemptive move, no doubt ordered by none other than my old nemesis—the subconscious saboteur.  Dun-dun-dun!

How do you like that?  This sounds weird even to me.  But just for the moment, let’s play the “How many times” game.  I’d like you to ask yourself how many times a day, a week, a month, a year, a lifetime do you subconsciously sabotage what you truly desire?  And how has this impacted your life?  Be honest.

Thank goodness I’m now on to myself and to my silly shenanigans.  I quickly put back the blue paper clip, and in the most glorious fashion retrieved the metallic purple paper clip.  Victory!

Old habits die hard, and even with that they still come back to haunt us!  Go away I say subconscious saboteur.  I cast you out never to return.  Stop sabotaging my life!

This little habit used to be a daily battle, where for many years I was on the losing side.  My misguided soul made certain I did not cross into frenemy territory, where the grass was greener, lush, and life happier.  My edict: No happiness aloud.  No happiness for you.  What?  Huh?

Yearly, I’d see my friends attain their intended goals and experience normal life events.  I, on the other hand, could be found sitting on the sidelines, permanently benched.  Happiness, love, and fulfillment were meant for someone else, not me.

It begs to question, had I, in some euphoric state, taken a vow of deprivation in this lifetime?  I have the t-shirt to prove it, and in the process worked through truck loads of karma to overcome this tendency.  “Hey lady.  Where do you want me to place this load?”  Let’s just say I satiated that desire and needn’t ever again go down that road.

Over time my life began to change.  In fact, I developed a special system which allowed me to finally say “Yes” to my personal happiness.  The system I am referring to is based on the principle of harmonious alignment, through identifying an individual’s unique physical and energetic signature.  Harmonious alignment changed my life!

I now no longer have a seat on the sidelines.  I’m in the game and have moments of true happiness.  Happy face happiness.  If this can happen for me, I know it is possible for you.  I want your life to be a reflection of all that your heart truly desires.

Let’s not let another moment go by living on the sidelines or reaching for the wrong paperclip.  Allow, allow, allow love, joy, and happiness into your life.  Even if at first you require small steps to get there.  I’ll see you at the games.
